Burundian President Nkurunziza took most if not everyone by surprise when he was suddenly sworn into government during an unscheduled ceremony.
There has been violence in the country following his controversial election victory which makes President Nkurunziza serve a third term.
According to new reports, no one heard about the swearing in ceremony until the next morning but a source said he took his oarths before parliamentarians and diplomats mainly from African countries.
The reason stated for the secrecy was to avoid further protests.
About 80 people are feared dead from the protests which started after the masses rejected his third five-year term bid.
