There is this excitement that comes with researching a destination, planning a trip, experiencing a place, and meeting new people! Personally, I can’t wait to come up close with those blue skies again. Travel is going to look different post-corona virus, but this may not be a bad thing. In this, we look at 5 places you should consider for travel, hopefully next year after the pandemic.
Countries who have limited the spread and acted efficiently will be the popular first choice for travelers who are quite nervous crossing borders. Botswana is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. It has a landscape defined by the Kalahari Desert and the Okavango Delta. In Botswana, there are many great lodges in the Okavango Delta and Kalahari Desert that are isolated and offer full-board for travelers. Botswana is one of the African nations that has been least affected by Covid 19, thanks to a rapid response to enforce a nation-wide lock-down.
This country is a transcontinental country located mainly on the Anatolian peninsula in Western Asia, with a smaller portion on the Balkan peninsula in Southeastern Europe. Turkey, which resumed international flights last month, is desperate to lure back tourists who are vital to its economy. Traveling in Turkey is far less expensive than nearby European countries, but it offers many of the same comforts and luxuries.
South Africa is a country on the southernmost tip of the African continent, marked by several distinct ecosystems. If you have long wanted to experience a safari, South Africa is still one of the best places to do so. There are plenty of great safari camps to choose from across the country, with most of the high end camps located in the Kruger National Park and nearby Sabi Sands. Inland safari destination, Kruger National Park is populated by big game. Gathering some friends and renting out an entire villa would be a wonderful experience.
Alberta is a province in Western Canada. Its landscape encompasses mountains, prairies, desert badlands and vast coniferous forests. This province is absolutely brimming with adventurous activities, especially in the winter time. This would make for a great escape in early 2021. Tourist destinations in the province include: Banff, Canmore, Drumheller, Jasper, Lake Louise and Sylvan Lake. Alberta is home to six UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
If you plan to visit Europe and explore central Europe, the immediate time after covid-19, when it is safe to travel again will be a great time to discover central Europe. Austria is a landlocked East Alpine country in the southern part of Central Europe. It is composed of nine federated states, one of which is Vienna, Austria’s capital and its largest city.
