Why Wouldn't Buhari Dance? We Look At The History Of Dancing Politicians

A picture of former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola dancing the Shoki recently surfaced online. We’ve also seen President Goodluck Jonathan digging it down at different occasions and don’t get us started with ex President Olusegun Obasanjo waving his hands like he just doesn’t care, what about Governor Rotimi Amaechi giving the stink face?

The many (awkward) photos of Nigerian politicians dancing in public floating the internet makes us wonder if this is some kind of right of passage and isn’t politics supposed to be a serious business?

It’s probably why we find it amusing to see our “leaders” easily willing to boogie down, do the atlanta, the yahoozie or even the galala at rallies or public parties. One political figurehead is yet to join in, c’mon Buhari it’s time to pop, lock and drop it.

Vote for the lawmakers you think have what it takes!
