There is no crime in loving yourself and the sooner you learn how to, the better. From your vulnerabilities and quirkiness to your strengths and achievements, accepting who you are is the first step in connecting with others in a more caring, empathic, intimate way and also opening doors for you.

Accepting ourselves is not as easy as just saying it, many of us don’t know how to see our own worth or accept our faults and imperfections for what they are.

But these few tips can help get you on the right path-

Accept and value yourself because your worth is your true nature. So invest time in improving your skills, your thoughts. You can do this by always speaking positively to yourself and expanding your interests.

Check your relationships because if you want to experience happiness in 2015, you might want to check who you let into your life. Friends, boyfriends, girlfriends or colleagues in your life that are always talking down at you or are very judgmental are not going to do you any good and would have effect on your ability to take on life successfully.

Take care of yourself– this includes your body, mind, finances and time. Live a healthy lifestyle and just like you wouldn’t live in filth, don’t put filth into your body, eat right, exercise regularly, quit smoking. For your mind, consciously stop yourself from thinking negatively. Be smart with your money because when you overspend, you put yourself in unnecessary debt and that makes you feel insecure, anxious and scared.
